Charles has a special place in his heart for youths and loves to encourage, teach, and inspire them to be their best. His love stems from the tragic death of his thirteen-year-old son to an unknown heart condition.
His son's short life and loving character led to an incredible change among his schoolmates. His son's life led to scholarships and awards in his honor that continue today. Charles wrote a book about his son entitled Angels Among Us that he shares with youths when he speaks.
Charles delivers dynamic sessions for youths, readings from one of his books, and training on how to write and public speaking.
Angels Among Us

A popular and attention-grabbing true story of a young student who passed away too soon. But it was his brief life and his outstanding godly character that led students to change their lives for the better.
Charles uses his public speaking training and a compassionate heart to skillfully deliver a life-changing message to youths that they are not too young to be godly and change the world!
A heart-toughing and extremely inspirational story of standing for God in the public school system. Delivered in preach, taught, or conference format.
Character Building
(Middle & High School)
Charles loves speaking with youths about godly character and responsibility. He shares the word of God and reveals the exceptional character traits youths need to build in their lives as a result of their fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
A highly interactive and fun session with learning built into each segment. Available in preached, taught, or conference format.
Writing Skills
(Middle & High School)
Charles is an award-winning author who has been writing for over twenty years. He has written articles for newspapers and magazines and has written several books--including one that captured an international award for outstanding non-fiction.
He loves sharing the finer points of writing skills with youths such as how to capture reader attention, how to deliver an engaging story, and how to transition from thought-to-thought or topic to topic.
A hands-on session only delivered in taught or conference formats.
Public Speaking Skills
(Middle & High School)
Charles is an award-winning Toastmasters International Speaker who captured two speaking contest awards. He loves sharing tips for engaging public speaking with youths.
Charles teaches youth to grab the audience's attention, keep them engaged, and deliver an impactful ending that will capture listeners hearts.
